White Blood Cell Count Finally Going Up

Hello All!
I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday!  Some good news has finally come to our family. Anthony's white blood cell count has slowly begun to rise over the past few days. This shows that his body is beginning to recover. He anticipates the results of the blood test daily to see if the numbers are better. The counts are still very low, but any progress is happy. :-)

He is also able to concentrate a bit better now. So he is more alert and able to actually play some card games or read on occasion. :-)

Thank you all for your incredible support! Despite the many tragedies that have occurred in this world, it is encouraging to see that there is still so much good... in so many people..in each and every one of you. Thank you.

I recently heard about a family friend who was chosen to donate his bone marrow to a three year old German child about a week before Christmas (a few weeks ago). They found him through the registry. I am so grateful to hear that another life has possibly been saved through the generosity of others.
