Lung Biopsy

Anthony is not getting better so the doctors did a CT scan on Tuesday to see if the pneumonia was getting worse. Brittany said,  "They said it looks better in some places, but worse in others." They will be doing a biopsy today to determine what form of pneumonia it is: Fungal, Bacterial, or Viral. The biopsy is called a Bronchoscopy that typically takes about 2 hours to complete. Not a fun experience.We are all praying it is a form that is treatable through medication, not all forms of pneumonia are treatable. Brittany said, "If it is a fungus, they will know exactly what kind of fungus it is and be able to treat it better. We are certainly not excited about the procedure, but we are excited that he will hopefully begin to get better."
