The Joy of Giving.

Anthony's bone marrow biopsy came back and things are looking good. The next step includes waiting while his body tries to rebuild and get all of his blood cell counts back up. And then they will retest the marrow in another week or so. Anthony's hair is now all falling out. Yesterday he finally just had Britt shave his head. (Anth was more concerned about the cleaning people having to clean up all the hair every day...and that was one reason why he decided to go ahead and shave it.) He said it was an odd feeling to just have chunks of hair come right out into his hands.

The doctor is saying that if things go forward as planned, the next step will be a bone marrow transplant. Before this is possible, he will undergo more chemotherapy treatments.

Thank you everyone for all of your love and support!!

  1. I think about you guys a lot. Tell Anthony to get a bunch of colored wigs and he would look way hip. I hope all is as well as can be expected. You're so brave, and I know so many people are rooting for you!

  2. Thank you! I agree with the wigs. I was thinking maybe a fun Elvis wig with side burns :)
